  • Alright, 5:30 local time. I’m fried out of my gourd. Disappointed dinner meet was cancelled, but secretly very, very glad for the sleep. #
  • Flying Virgin America tomorrow to NYC. Looking forward to the experience, since I consulte on the concept early on :) #
  • Ahem, consulted. #
  • @marshallk - you gonna blog this developing story fo big blogs and networks having their PR kicked in the nads by google? #
  • Weird thing about today’s google smack of blog networks? We don’t actually cross-link all our sites, just per vertical. To avoid this! #
  • Virgin america flight review tweets for next few hours. #
  • I’m in main cabin thgis flight, but will be in first to blogworldexpo. So was scoping both out. First looks above avera (for america). #
  • Mood lighting takes a second to get used to, but is.nice. Red, the onboard entertainment system, looks fab. #
  • Can’t find keyboard for cat. Nice to see that a *lot* of the ideas my team generated early in the va/vx planning phases made it through! #
  • Va: checkin was 3 minutes. Security at sfo was 5. All very good. Gate was nothing special. Pre-boarding you pick up *real* headsets. #
  • Whoos and boos from flight comin’ up! #
  • Whoo @ games. Whoo @ dish tv. Whoo @ ability to order your food when you want. Whoo @ sigh for when to use gadgetsm #
  • Whoo @ solid tv and movie options. Whoo @ food quality. Whoo @ happy staffy’s. Whoo @ humour on plane. Whoo @ seat quality / size. #
  • Whoo @ dedicated remote w/ keyboard. #
  • Boo @ having to pay for movies and on-demand tv. Whoo if that keeps fares low though! #
  • Wow, 23 emails related to this google pr thing. Will have an official response later tonight. #
  • Short version: we were playing nice. We weren’t engaged in massive cross-linking. We believe in content over pr. #
  • Oh,n and this isn’t a shot at blog networks. It’s at all kinds of coontent sites, including forbes, washington post, etc. #
  • Ps: b5′ll be taking a "watch and see" approach, monitoring our omniture data very closely, to see if this is a real thing or just temp. #
  • More quick facts on this google update: more’n half the sites were major content and news sources. Less’n half were sellling links. #
