Cell Phone Found

by Jeremy Wright on September 5th, 2006

I noted that I’d lost my cell while in SFO. I bought a new one (SLVR), and it’s now working. Same number (506 921 0119). Only problem is that I also lost all my data, so if I should have / want / need your cell number, either email me (jeremy@b5media.com) or text me.

Danke!

That sucks. I have lost my cell on two occasions. Once at Six Flags and the other time in someone elses car. I hated losing my cell phone. One of the biggest headaches is losting all the phone numbers that are on the cell phone.

So…after a handful of days w/ a SLVR, are you a fan of it? I’ve been seriously thinking of getting one, but it’ll be a change from my Nokia I’ve been familiar w/ for the past few years.

Is it a phone you’d recommend?

    Blake: Three things I don’t like…

    1. It’s not a fllipphone. I got used to my RAZR. It was smaller. And the screen was ALWAYS protected. This one isn’t.

    2. The key layout. Keys aren’t laid out in straight lines, so I’m never hitting things properly.

    3. No voice notes. I relied on voice notes on my RAZR.

Beyond that, it’s a great phone. Better reception and volume than the RAZR, more storage, better camera, better video :)

I’m actually a fan of the “candy bar” or non flip, so that’s not a concern.
The key alignment is a concern. Especially since I use text messaging quite a bit. I’ve handed a SLVR before and you have to be eye-balling the phone to make sure you press the right key. No more texting while driving, huh?
Voice notes…is that using the voice recorder for short “memos” or using your voice to call up applications?

I have never lost anything so far, but I am terrible afraid of the moment when this begins.
