Turning the Computer Off
I’ve decided to turn the computer off for the weekend. There’s nothing better for putting something well and truly behind you like avoiding it completely ;-)
I’ve realised that some people will understand. Others won’t. Some will agree and others won’t. Some will write me really, really nasty emails and post things on their blogs that aren’t true. And others won’t.
I shouldn’t let any of that affect me, as hard as it is. And, instead of simply dealing with it every hour or two when it happens, I’m going to log off. Turn everything off and try and get back to being myself.
Thanks to everyone for the support, the honesty, for having an opinion and for visiting. If you don’t like me, you can rest assured that you probably won’t like me when I come back, so feel free to forget this happened and to move on as well.
So, moving on. I’ll likely write one more post on this when everything is wrapped up, just for the record, but I’ll try and keep it brief.
Have a great weekend everyone. I’m sure I’ll be playing a fair bit of Halo 2, Burnout 3 and Links, so feel free to drop me a line!

Jeremy, sorry there are some bitter people out there making this worse.
Maybe this graph will cheer you up when you get back.

I envy you. We’re so dependent on computers that it’s highly ipressive that you’re willing jst to get rid of it.

Such an akward silence here… and I think GBB’s statistics are a record low without your steady stream of content! (Which we are forever grateful for)
Just hope for the best. Good luck ignoring all the people who think you’re lying - it won’t be difficult, I’d bet.
(Maybe you’re offline hoping for your 10th 2005 prediction to come true? ;) )

Good for you Jeremy. Home should be a place of peace and I’m glad you’re exercising the wisdom to just rest in that place. The world will continue on with it’s opinions, thoughts, criticisms and encouraging words. Just remember opinions are like assholes, everyone has one :) and if they’re talking about you they are leaving someone else alone……….Love ya

If you are going to play those games, you ARE using a form of a computer, the PS2 or XBox. I don’t know of that Halo 2 and Burnout 3 have come in board game versions yet :) Take care.

Addiction
Jeremy Wright was unable to go a single weekend without using his computer, despite a public declaration on his website. […] My advice: Try actually turning off the computer for a weekend. Really. Unplug it. […] Put the keyboard and mouse and pow…
