@marshallk – if home subsribers didn’t pay that’d be true. Until rss monetizes, why should publshers pay writers for it? #
Oops, earlier stats update – we actually grew 20% last month vs November. After a couple of months of fallout from Google crap, nice to see! #
On gawker’s new pay model, I like it. Rewards authors first for writing, and second for add bottom-line value. Not perfect, but it’s "okay". #

b5 is thinking of renting a ranch for SxSw and offering anyone who wants free camping space. Thoughts? We’d provide shuttles to/from too ;-) #
