New Ensight Design
So the new Ensight design is now live. A few bugs kicking around that the team is working on, but I know they’ll get those licked pretty soon :)
This is the beta version of the new b5media template, so feel free to comment on anything and everything that we’ve messed up on our could have done better!

Commenters’ names are not coming through on home page

And after I have left the previous comment, I apparently commented on all the others as well! The names are screwed. Otherwise, I do like the design

Congratulations on an innovation! Lovely, clean, clear, crisp. Highly readable. The footer treatment is exceptional! Everything works for me, but one item — The blog appears to have no anchoring title. It’s too small. T he banner ad overpowers the name of the blog.

Wider and softer on the eyes – very cool.

I really like it. It is clean and crisp and doesn’t really look like “anything else” out there!

Looks great! I’m digging the clean style. :)

I have to ditto Liz’s caution – that banner could totally overpower the name of the blog.
Otherwise, it’s sleek, spacious, and a downright clean design.

I want mine too!
I likey… but I also agree with Liz about the SIZE of the banner(s).

Nice. Nothing beats a simple, clean design.
But … gotta agree with Liz – the banner ad really overpowers the blog name, imo.

Hey Jeremy,
I love the footer (esp the part on The Latest in Team Blogs), and the way the comment box is highlighted! :)

I love the new template. All of my thoughts have been said. I love the clean, crisp look. I also believe the title of the blog has to be bigger.
I missed the footnote section below when I first looked last week. I love that as well.
Can’t wait to see the new look in purple!

I liked the last one a lot because you designed it, all very custom and slick. I think it’ll take time to get used to this design since it looks a lot like the rest of the b5 sites. Nice footer though, I wouldn’t have used Ajax because it’s just displaying text, the tab switching is a little sluggish because of it. Ajax doesn’t have to be used everywhere, style.display switching works just as well in some cases :)
