Current Weight: 229

Well, I’m back! 60 emails and tonnes of backlog to process after a week and a bit away, but it feels so good to be baaaaack!

Weighed in this morning for the first time since I left at a cool 229. Certainly not my lowest weight, but also not bad at all considering the travel I just went through.

In Vegas I did really well on breakfasts (yogurt & granola & banana muffin & OJ), okay on lunches (deli sandwiches), took Jason’s tip and ate protein bars when snacky and did alright at suppers. I felt pretty good.

Likewise, at SXSW in Austin, I did fairly good on the food. Drank too much at nights so probably went over calories there, but yeah.

Sadly, I didn’t really exercise besides walking for an hour a day. I was hoping to get in 30 minutes 3 times per week, but really just couldn’t get up early after being up until 2-3am, and there was no time during the day. Not really an excuse, but at least it’s a reason.

Now that I’m back I’m settling back into my diet again, and will be restarting my exercise program. Either way, I’m happy that I didn’t gain weight while gone, because I hate playing catch-up.

Speaking of which, time to tackle email!

    Hey Jeremy,

    Good job on not gaining!! Not an easy accomplishment when you are travelling. I can’t wait to hear how you do with getting back into your exercise program!! I fully EXPECT to hear you are back into it!! I don’t yell very well and I don’t curse so I’ll just say get to work!! Let me know when you got at least 3 days in this week!

    Great job Jeremy!! If I can offer one tip on the eating above I’d say skip the granola and move to bran. Granola is high in sugar, fat and cholesterol, while bran is everything but. It can even help you lose weight and keep you full longer :)
