Okay, I’m all for people advocating certain causes. I really am. Put your little “FireFox is IE7″ and “Get FireFox cause it rul3z0rs” banners around. But stopping me from getting to your content?

Some people really don’t think. I use FF 99.99% of the time, but my feedreader, FeedDemon is based on IE. Thank you. But anyway if people behave like that I reallly am not interested in their content either.

That is cheeky, isn’t it? I guess they don’t care about traffic, eh?

I haven’t seen that sort of thing much. But, the few times I have, I just closed the window. I didn’t open FF and take a look.

I’ll bet he doesn’t like you to come in and bother him at his day job as a Fry Guy either.

That’s pretty much in bas taste (yes, my aggregator is also based off IE, and I often read posts by loading the HTML page itself directly into it). So sure, I myself use FF and prefer it over IE, but I too wouldn’t bother with such sites, if only because the process is… well, yes. Bad taste (or in case it’s a joke, not even funny).

And on looking deeper I found there are settings to the script to (1) show the content with a banner above it, (2) show the advisory with a link to the content or (3) show the advisory. This person chose (3) which is the brute force method and which makes one wonder the motives of the person.

FF is good, but IE is much better. Why don’t use IE if you have problems with any other browser. And I don’t know why people promote FF so heavily for free.
