As Aaron noted, we’re putting up new designs. Yes, we. In fact, we’re “sharing” the same design. Maybe this means we’ll inspire each other to greatness. Or maybe it means we’re a pair of lazy bastards. Either way, while I’d love to say I slaved over this for days, the truth is it’s only been about 3 hours of work.
So there you have it.
Old design out. New design in.
Thoughts, bugs, issues?
In terms of new features, only a few so far. First, the header image will rotate. Daily. The text will likely be modified a bit over the next few days, as it’s based on my “7 Rules for Living” that I’m putting together. For now, these are my first draft.
I know, nothing big or momentous. But, then, I only had a few hours to give. Hopefully it adds a fresh bit of spice for those few who still come here regularly (and thank you for coming here regularly!)
Update: I’ve reverted to the old design, as I don’t have time to fix bugs today.

Nice! I’ll have mine up this evening after I finish listening to yours and Tyme’s podcast.

erm … ouch!
Ok, your sidebar code has a glitch near the top which means it’s double bulleted.
Your post title merges into the 8Ball image (not sure if that’s intentional or not but looks a bit rough)
Your blog roll has the text overlapping the bullets
and the font on the header image … not cool!
Will happily send screen shots (and possible fixes) tomorrow but am off to bed right now … it’s 00:15 where I am.

Rob: Yeah, do… I tested in FF and IE6 and didn’t see any of that…
And, yeah, I don’t like the font on the header images either. Looked fine in PhotoShop though!

What I see is exactly what Rob points out.
Honestly, I liked your old design much better.

Bob: Thanks for popping in. I’m happy to fix whatever’s wrong. I just don’t see it at all. Can I get browser info, so I can plug it into BrowserCam and try and figure this out?

lot of bugs J, b5 blog list is screwed, adsense ads over heading and below it aren’t playing nice, latest version of FF on XP.

SIDEBAR? There’s no sidebar… // hold on //
Ah. Firefox has the sidebar in the left side. In I.E.version 7 beta two – there is no sidebar. Your “Text” post is underneith the meta section. The sidebar (in FF) is centered in the IE view …I took a screen image view of IE7.. here: http://PetLvr.com/pics/jeremynew1.jpg and http://PetLvr.com/pics/jeremynew2.jpg

Further to my other comment in moderation … in IE there is no masthead that there is on the top right side of FF with the 8-ball. I was blinded here, I guess because of your “atom” in the left logo.. same as mine .. Splitting the atom too, eh?

Try testing in IE7 Beta 2.
Ouch

I am using Firefox 1.5.0.1 on Linux (Simply Mepis 3.4.3).

Yes, I’m seeing what Rob does on FF. You need Description( display: none; in your CSS.

Have just re-read my fist comment and I apologise if it was a bit harsh. Obviously can’t send screen shots now but if you’d like a hand resolving the issues then just holla
