Just curious if others are having persistent issues with Technorati. For me, the CSS won’t load. Oh, and sometimes when I do searches I get results for … Well, for searches I didn’t enter.
If it’s just me, I can live with that, just figured I’d ask

I’m having similar issues. There are some searches I subscribe to….and they’re returning all sorts of things that are in no way related to the search terms.

If it’s not one thing, it’s another. But Technorati is still excellent and unsurpassed in many aspects. Right now I am having trouble claiming some of our network’s blogs, and I also am starting to run into weird search results sometimes – for example, Chinese blogs mysteriously linking to me, according to Technorati.

Agreed. Sick. I subscribe to a vanity search to track my inbounds, & frequently see results that have nothing to do with me. Equally, the link count for my blog hasn’t changed in forever. My prescription? Mothball the link-count ’til it can keep up. Keep showing the search results, just hide the count for a while ’til it can scale…..

I’ve been having so much trouble with Technorati that I did a google blog search on it to find this post. My blog hasn’t updated in 24 days on their lists, and since last night Mozilla won’t even find the Technorati site for me…
Wondering if anyone is having those types of issues as well.
Is the Technorati site down today?

No issues… I’m quite happy with Technorati when it works.
But the servers seem to have been down for 24 hours, and were erratic for about a week before that.

The results I receive from Technorati seem inconsistent.

Indeed. I have a long running search-to-RSS for http://www.discourse.net and lately most of the results are sites that have no links to it and clearly wouldn’t want to.

Not sure whether anyone’s gonna read this entry, biut yeah, it’s pretty weird for me too. For the past 3-4 months, the results I get from Technorati is 288 links from 111 sites linking to me… even though I’m pretty sure I have had quite a number of new sites and entries linking to me.
