As for me, I found no glitches. I’m immersed in books for school right now and wouldn’t find a glitch in a game if it jumped out and bit me. I’m glad you’re gaming – sounds like it’s like a wide open space with wide open air for you right now.

I like it, but have similar issues with the way it has performed. The glitches in Ghost Recon are almost too much to bear.

Nice Job Jeremy. That’s almost identical to my impressions. But, of course, with G.R.A.W. I’ve definitely fallen more deeply in love with my 360.

And I love Geometry Wars Too!! I also love the networking aspect with windows media center and xp, I stream music all the time.

sounds like fun. Bizarrely I’ve never owned a gaming system of any time but I have to say I’ve been tempted by the 360 – although the price is a bit more than I’d want to pay. I guess it’ll come down over it’s first year of release – but then again I think I said that about PS2 and never picked one up.

The 360 has really changed gaming for me. It brings the fun concept of Live to fruition in such a compelling way that I am now an addict.

Since the creation of Connect 360 (where my mac can easily speak with the white beast) I’m in heaven. I fear for my freetime when some real games come out!

I concur. I’ve had my 360 for almost two months now (owner of a Xbox with Xbox Live for several years) it’s quite an impressive piece of equipment. Wireless controllers are awesome — being able to turn the system on and off without ever needing to come near the system is indeed ‘freeing’. Xbox Live Arcade is great and Geometry Wars must be the most addicting game in a long time (though I suck at it). I just wish we’d see more content on both Arcade and the Marketplace. 720p trailers of Mission Impossible III and Aeon Flux made me scream for more.

Unfortunately the system is indeed loud. It’s so weird, because the DVD player in the old Xbox is relatively quiet and at a very acceptable level. I am not sure where they went wrong with the 360.

Besides not being able to download in the background, I wish Microsoft would just wisen up and think in the interest of their consumers, instead of their pesky Media Center. If I can’t get DivX/XviD support, then at least allow me to stream video from my XP machine. Oh well… Xbox Media Center does it just fine in the meantime.

I can’t say enough about the wireless controllers. It’s obvious as soon as you start playing. Anyone who’s played consoles for any lenght of time will know, because you get in a habbit of kicking the wires out of your way or moving the controller a certain way to get slack. My brother and I spent the first hour getting over the “ghost” sensation that there were cables. There were some pretty funny moments, like almost tripping to avoid stepping on the “cables” that weren’t there. But that’s all I’ll say about that.
