I’m doing an article for InformIT on the new breed of team applications. Things like Basecamp, Central Desktop, etc. What are some of the apps that you guys use or know of that I should be examining specifically?

If I may point out my own app – check out Tasks Pro. It doesn’t have a heavy management side or reporting capabilities (yet) but is designed to be lightweight and really be used. I can get you in touch with some users if you’d like to chat with them.
Of course, we use it for keeping track of everything for FeedLounge too.

Not sure what the others are that have been mentioned, and I’m sure you’d be including it anyway, but Groove absolutely rocks for small disparately spread businesses!
