It’s happened! Alex took his first step last night! We didn’t get it on film, because he only took one (daddy tricked him into it). He’s very cautious about falling, so it might be a few days before he walks some more… But he’s doing very well. Both of our boys were 12-13 months before they walked properly. I guess that’s what happens when they’re in the top 2-3% of weight for their age

Congratulations Jeremy! I have 3 children of my own (2 girls under 3 years old) so I remember the excitement of the first step. Sometimes it seems as if they are doing something new every day doesn’t it? Go Alex!

Ahh fellow jeremy The first steps are always the most cautious but soon there up and motoring and then you realise that everything that you dont want broken, coverd in food, eaten, or lost suddenly is within reach.
Mines 18 months.

WOOT! I’m so proud of the little guy.
Do me a favour, ask Shannon, “When’s he going to get a job??”

Congrats J!
That’s what the doc called my son when he was baby.
For being in the top 3% for weight, they don’t look that “big”.
They must be “sturdy” kids
