Jeremy is spot on. Because Adsense doesn't show both pre-audited and post-audited figures people tend to forget that there is auditing at play at Adsense too. General speculation is that it happens via Google witholding a selection of clicks every day for a few days, then running some auditing on those clicks before "dumping" them into your account. This may account for some publishers occasionally seeing unusually large CTRs and eCPMs on some days. I have compiled a list of Adsense vs Chitika differences but I think I should really add this vital difference in how they audit clicks.

Can you spare a mo to share the clue as to how you get the ad as a sticky at the top of the page?

Most peoples experience is that it goes down by about 10%. This is fair enough, as AdSense typically drops the same amount during their weekly (ish) auto-audits.

I have only been using them for a few days and I must say that they are great. Getting more from them per click than adsense. Though I would like to see how much I have when it goes to Audited Revenue. It may not be as much :|

Jeremy, Well done.

I’m planning to include them one of my new site. However my experience so far is not so good with Chitika, adsense does very well but by visiting your blog I think I can implement Chitika ads on non product related sites/blogs

Regards

my comment did something strange then when I clicked submit...

Darren said his audit saw his numbers drop by just under 10%. My first audit saw a reduction of under 2%.

Since adding chitika, which had been hot and cold, my adsense has shot up. Go figure.

Wow. That's a figure I would love to pull in ;-)

After I've seen you and other bloggers using it, I've decided to give it a shot too...so far I'm satisfied with the numbers although I don't have the audited stats yet...but even if a click here and there is dropped, it still looks promising :-)

Bo: That's just this blog. I only use the default configuration, however there are a huge number of customizations you can do if it isn't working for you. For me, on Ensight, it's working really, really well.
