It’s official… I’ve been published!

I have to say that driving home from the pick-up place with 20 copies of a book that I contributed to was mind-numbing, made me giddy and had me talking to myself all at the same time. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences of my life.

The book is called More Space – Nine Antidotes to Complacency in Business, and it’s a collection of writings by 9 prominent businessy bloggers:

In my opinion, More Space is an incredibly important project. In many ways I didn’t realize how important until I held it in my hands. More Space is the collective knowledge of bloggers. Being applied to the real world. So that business people can be informed, entertained, given perspective and helped along their journey.

More Space is huge.

It’s available for pre-order now. It’ll be released on the 25th. You can also view it free online if you so desire. And, I’ll be giving away 5 copies at some point this week (you can also buy copies from me directly if you want).

My entry is called “Jonas’s Letters: 5 Honest Letters From an IT Manager”. It’s really a “Screwtape Letters”-like look at business, some of the things that are wrong with IT management and a whole host of other things. I’ll be honest, I don’t like it, but that’s most likely due to the fact that it’s my first work of fiction since high school.

I love the rest of the essays, though. I’ve spent the last half hour thumbing through pages of the book floored at what the team put together. Well done everyone!
