w00t @ New Video Card!

I know, it’s silly, but going from a 32MB card to a GeForce FX 5600 256MB card is exciting for me. I’ve just downloaded the demo for Battlefield 2. If it goes well, I’ll likely pick it up. So far it looks like a fantastic game, and the card’s taking everything I can throw at it (and then some) :-D

Battlefield: Vietnam kicked all sorts of ass. I’ve been nervous about getting the sequel because my computer’s, like, 2 years old. It was high-end then, but I’ve heard that Battlefield 2 is pretty demanding on ye olde video card.

I have a 2.0GHz machine, with 1GB RAM and the new card and it works great. I wouldnt’ want to try it with an older card though.
