Book Breaks Top 100,000 Amazon Books
Earlier this morning, Blog Marketing broke the Amazon top 100,000 list. This is a very dynamic list, though, so I’m sure it’ll slip back down. The highest it’s been is the top 50,000. It doesn’t really mean much at this point, but it’s always encouraging to see it go up, as it means some folk have ordered.
I’m still trying to figure out how to work this “book signing” thing. Anyone have any ideas that don’t involve me (or anyone) paying 20$ in shipping? If you want to order the book through me, I can purchase, sign and ship books for 25$ US (the normal retail price). Should I setup a mechanism for doing that?

PDF signatures that people can download and print out? Dead tree and real ink? That went out with the 90s, didn’t it?
Seriously, signing is going to be pricey for shipping unless you can somehow stock generic signed copies with Amazon by the case lot…

re: Signed copies
Check with a local bookstore. I know that Cory Doctorow did that while he was living close to a bookstore willing to participate.
see here.
Hope that helps.
