Pre-Order Signed Copies of Blog Marketing

Category: Blogging, Business, From My Life, Work, WritingJeremy Wright @ 10:40 am

Update: PayPal pre-ordering finally works!

Okay, I’ve finally figured out how to get signed copies to whoever wants them. I’ll be bulk-ordering copies from the publisher, and then shipping a copy to whoever wants them. This’ll work out much more cost-effectively than if I ordered them from Amazon, had them shipped and then had to ship them again.

Here’s the PayPal button (which anyone can feel free to use on their site), if you do want to pre-order a signed copy (25$+5$ for shipping):

Requested Inscription (Optional)
Gift Recipient Address (Optional)

Over the next week or so, I’ll also be working up an affiliate system (somehow… If anyone has any experience with this, feel free to let me know), which will give affiliates 5$ (!!!) per sale.

Are those prices US/Canada only or worldwide?

  2. Jeremy Wright says:

All prices are in USD, and I’ll ship to anywhere in the world, within reason.

The reasoning behind the pricing is that I get the books for about 15$ each, then pay for shipping, and then I get 5$/book, and then pay for shipping to the customer. Is the price fair?

  3. Ingoal says:

Yup, the price is alrighty…so…the 40+10 = 50$ would work for shipping them to Germany too, right? If yup…sign me up….I would pay right away, but the paypal-button somehow doesn’t feel like working for me today (having been trying this morning (my timezone and now again 00:44 and all I get is

“We are sorry that we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later.

    Message 5302″)

  4. Jeremy Wright says:

Ingo: Yeah, I get the same message. My best guess right now is that the 50$ will cover the shipping to Germany. It definitely covers US and Canada, and it should cover it Internationally.

  5. Jeremy Wright says:

Ingo, both buttons are now working. Sorry about that!

  6. Ingoal says:

Just came back from a little house party…need to get some sleep as it’s 04:50am now…and that on a weekday ;-)

I’ll check it out sometime later today…

  7. Devin says:

I’m sorry but destination address is email?

  8. Jeremy Wright says:

Destination address is where you want it sent.

  9. Devin says:

I figured that would take maybe two lines. Hence the confusion. ;-)

  10. Jeremy Wright says:

Yeah, only use it if it’s different from the billing address. I included it in case people wanted to send one as a gift. I’ll ammend the text :)

  11. Devin says:

Awesome, thanks. PS: ensight.org/thanks doesn’t work (the address that ‘Return to Merchant’ takes you to)

  12. Jeremy Wright says:

Devin: Fixed, thanks for the heads up :)
