I became a full-time professional author a few years ago and I wouldn't do anything else now. The toughest bit is writing a long book on an obscure subject which doesn't attract immediate publisher support. The only solution is what you say : multiple income streams. One avenue I'm currently investigating is making money from blogging [Don't laugh]. I have the irrepressible belief that if Darren Rowse can earn $15,000 in one month from AdSense, so can I.
