For those who don’t know, over the last 6 months, my family has been making its slow, nomadic way across Canada. We started in Winnipeg in March, went to Toronto for 2 months, then moved to New Brunswick and stayed in a temporary apartment for 2 months.
We’ve recently moved into our semi-permanent “until we buy” apartment.
All through this time, we haven’t had furniture. Which was okay, because the last 3 places were all furnished. This place, though, is not.
So, we’ve been living on a borrowed mattress, with a single borrowed desk and a long fold-up table to eat on for almost a month now.
I’m not whining about this, because it’s been kinda like camping out. But, tomorrow (or maybe today) our furniture comes.
I can’t wait. If for no other reason than that our “furniture” contains my Xbox

Well buddy, I have had furniture for a year now but no internet conn. Now that I have that, and you’re getting your xbox back, perhaps we can meet on the field of online battle?

No furniture, and no x-box, but on the bright side, you also haven’t had a ferret!

Yet for your new friends who are local to you now, no X-box means lots of extra time with Jeremy and the fam. Furniture, yes; JeremyLoss, nyet.
