I’ve gotten permission to post 2 excerpts from my upcoming book. No, they’re not chapters, but they are appendices. C’mon, stop booing at me! 
Seriously though, I’m posting this both so that people can make use of this (attribute, feel free to distribute, but nothing commercial (like a competing book)) and so that people can comment on it to improve on it, if they see fit.

you should probably point out to punters that these two appendices are not indicative of the rest of the book. I kinda feel that these sell the book a little short.
Guys, the rest of the book is much deeper than these!
