Vice-President: (still thinking on that one)
Goodwill Amabassador: Steve Rubel
Department of Justice: Glenn Reynolds
Department of Commerce: Darren Rowse (the only person I know whose actually making a good living off blogs)
Department of Education: Susannah Gardner (she wrote THE book on blogging)
Supreme Court: Shel Israel
Hmm… Not sure I agree on most of this.
I’d do something like:
President: Darren Barefoot (this one took a lot of thought. I believe a President needs to be perceptive, communicative, well thought, friendly, intelligent… and Darren personifies most of these qualities to me)
Vice-President: Shelley Powers (I rarely, if ever, see eye to eye with Shelley on a lot of issues, and she’s done more than her fair share of lashing out… but I really believe a VP needs to be more than just a “yes man”, and Shelley’d do both… I also think Renee could do this quite well as well)
Goodwill Amabassador: Marc Orchant (it takes a special kind of person to make people feel proud of themselves, even when they aren’t doing anything worth being proud of …. Marc’s great at this)
Department of Justice: Glenn Reynolds (sure, I’ll bite, I can’t think of anyone better, really, except maybe Lessig)
Department of State: Aaron Brazell (few people have a better appreciation for where the American people are at as a nation as well as as a people)
Department of Commerce: Rob from BusinessPundit (or Oliver Thylmann, both of whom have a fantastic head for business)
Department of Education: Robert Paterson (he blogs and writes about education more powerfully than anyone I know)
Supreme Court Justices (I’ll pick 5): Doc Searls, Stowe Boyd, Anita Campbell, Elizabeth Albrycht and Jon Husband
Okay, that’s my list. I tried to steer clear of “A listers” (more on this later), and I consciously tried to force myself not to pick the most obvious people. Doc Searls has earned his respect (or, wuffie as some people say) time and time and time and time again.
I also tried to go beyond my little corner of the blogosphere and my own circle of friends. I was, for example, tempted to put Tris as a Justice because he’s great at pulling a lot of info in and then giving a reasoned point of view on it.
I also tried to stay away from close friends, though sometimes they made a perfect fit.
I like to believe my “My Blogosphere” is fairly diverse, and hopefully the above is a representation of that.

Well, your comment on Paul’s blog is the first public admission of the circular nature of the blogosphere.
As for your choices, let’s be honest: without Denton or Calcanis or Drudge, we miss three people that are monetizing blogs and showing there are ways to blog as a business.
