might not be a good idea; sometimes, it’s just easier to lay down and take it and then move on (or in your case, to just bend over and take it). I agree with Apo, You don’t want to make things any more difficult then they have to be next time, right?

Tough question, though considering all the media coverage your stories have received, I guess there’s no harm in releasing those posts now.

As Alice said, It’s also good that these kind of incidents are reported.

However…

Now that some time has passed, and this story has flown around the globe, why not consider a precis or summary of those original posts as part of a new post that focuses more on the point Tod makes in his comment, ie, talking about the rise of new professions (blogging), how you can get to know people and set up business deals all without meeting those people, etc. The new way of working.

You have another example to look at – Jason Kottke. While he’s not been through what you have, he’s a full-time professional blogger trying to earn a living at it.

It would be a good focus for you for InsideBlogging.

I think you should re-post what happened to you. It’s shameful what they did to you and might serve as a catalyst for others to make sure they have more “proof” of being a pro blogger if they try to enter the U.S.

I think it would be in the best interests of the United States if you did restore them, not to blow this out of proportion, but it is better if these kinds of incidents are reported.
