IE Usage Drops Below 50%
I’ve done these updates a few times before on IE and Firefox usage.
Here are the latest stats. I suspect the slip is largely due to a different type of user making their way here, as opposed to a general shift in my audience. Hard to tell when I’ve had more visitors this month than in the last 6 combined.
Here’s the breakdown:
IE: 45.2%
Firefox: 35.4%
Other Moz-based browsers: 14.5%
Which puts IE at under 50% for the first time ever. And it also puts Moz-based browsers, including Firefox, as more popular than IE.
Crazy.

Out of interest Jer – are you a Firefox convert or do you still use Internet Exploder? (as my old boss used to call it!)
Gosh – I love the Tabs on Firefox…

This is not crazy, but great. It just proves that people have finally understood the benefits of proper browsers. Long live Firefox!
