When you work for someone else: You can’t wait to take breaks.
When you work for yourself: You feel guilty stepping away from the computer.
When you work for someone else: Being sick is a break.
When you work for yourself: Being sick means you have to do more work when you’re better… so you might as well just work when you’re sick.
When you work for someone else: You take full meal breaks.
When you work for yourself: You eat in front of the computer.
When you work for someone else: You get frustrated if you have to work more than an 8 hour day.
When you work for yourself: You’re shocked if you work for less than 12 hours a day.
When you work for someone else: It takes you an hour to get to work.
When you work for yourself: It takes you an hour to get to work
When you work for someone else: You know you have money coming in next week, so seeing a movie is relaxing.
When you work for yourself: You never really know for sure if money’s coming in, so any expense stresses you out.
