New Blog Launch: The Wealthy Blogger

Okay, I noted I’d be launching a new blog soon.

Thanks to everyone who gave input (Darren, Greg, Nicole and everyone else!).

The site is now ready, so I’m now “launching” this.

The Wealthy Blogger is now live!

What is The Wealthy Blogger?

From the blog:

The Wealthy Blogger is effectively a personal money management blog from two guys who have a lot to say, but not a lot of credentials behind them. Unless The School of Hard Knocks qualifies. And, really, I think it does.

We’ll be covering the “end-to-end” issues surrounding financial freedom and independence from not owning your own money. Initially we’ve focussed on the aspects of debt and credit cards and those will undoubtedly continue to be large subjects - since they are so importnat in our society.

However our ultimate goal is to cover the whole process. From foundational things such as estate planning and retirement basics, through debt reduction and management, through to retirement savings options and how to invest smartly and appropriately.

We want to keep it practical, easy to understand and applicable. And along the way I’m sure we’ll pick up some neat ideas from guest contributors and commenters.

So, head on over. Have a peek. And hopefully we can all have some good discussions around money management issues :-)

Have a peak. I hope not….perhaps a “peek”, but definitely NOT a “peak”. Damn! Don’t you just hate those homophones!?

    Congrats.

This is good endeavour. As much as I like writing about money (making and saving it), there’s always so much to learn. You guys should start writing not only finances in general, but your opinions of the banks, brokers and investment funds you’ve dealt with, just to share personal experiences.
