No, I Don't Hate the Mac Mini
Contrary to what a recent article might sound like, I do not hate the Mac Mini.
From the comments you’d think I’d claimed Jobs was gay.
I just don’t believe it’s a good move for their business. The iPod was. The Shuffle isn’t.
I’m happy to be proven wrong though :)

That’s probably the thought that Apple is a premium brand asking for premium prices and that both of those are too cheap for that. Sadly that’s not quite true because it works the other way around. Apple has a wonderful brand, exceeding customer expectations with their products. They can then ask for premium prices. The Mac Mini still has a premium price tag over similar PCs. $99 for an MP3 player without screen might seem a lot to some.
I think this will really work out great for them and for the brand. Up till now the message they put forward is still cristal clear.

Tell that to Apple’s retail stores: Shuffles and Minis are completely sold out. Everywhere.
