Quiet for Tonight

Category: Blogging, From My LifeJeremy Wright @ 6:53 pm

I’m gonna just veg out tonight. No, I’m not crushed. Yes it was a slap in the face. Yes we’re okay financially (though being out 2K is always hard to swallow). No, I probably won’t be filing any legal action but, yes, I’d still like to talk to a labour attorney just to make sure all the i’s are crossed and the t’s are dotted (heh).

See y’all tomorrow. I’ve got a lot of work to do to pad up my salary with blogging and writing stuff, so if you know anyone looking for blogging, writing, speaking or consulting please let me know (or let them know about me).

To everyone who’s already commented. Thank you for your support. Really. It’s held me up more than you’ll know and it’s probably the reason I didn’t go into a mild tailspin.

I’ll do my best to be sane tomorrow. I promise.

There appears to be a new word for this:

    dooced
Losing your job for something you wrote in your online blog, journal, website, etc.
Did you hear Mary got fired yesterday for writing about Becky in her blog? Yeah, she got dooced.

Love you man. Things will be alright. I’m sorry for the pain and frustration these things cause.

    Praying for you guys mate.

Sooo…the “man” got scared because he didn’t understand and he reacted the only way he knows how to when he doesn’t understand something…push it away.

Lok at it as confirmation of the idea of what you are planning to do in the future… there are people and companies out in the real world who want, no need, to be educated about the power of blogging and “conversations”, and you my friend are one of the people who is in a position to help them.

Take it easy and look at it as a reason to get insideblogging up and running and financial sooner than later…best wishes Jeremy..

Hey there you. Keep your chin up and just look at this as a small bump in the road of life. I know you will keep your eye on the goal that you and the Lord have set ahead for you and your family. All things work together for good to those who love God. I know you do and that you want to honour Him. If you feel you have done anything wrong in this, repent, receive forgiveness and carry on…………Love ya and are continuing to keep you and the family in prayer

Frankly, the silver lining here is that you’ll still get your regular salary and not have to work for it. ;)
