A Personal Blog
VIDEO: MSN Spaces Demo by Me
Gah @ accidentally erasing big long post.
Long and short of this is that there are those who get the new MSN Spaces and like it. There are those who get it and don’t like it (largely because it’s not the kind of thing most bloggers would move to). And there are those who don’t get it.
So, I figured (being so important and everything) I’d make a demo video showing off some of the capabilities. Maybe Scoble’ll link to it. I love Scoble. I hate Scoble. There, that should get his attention.
The Video
Here is the video (thanks to Nathan for mirroring it!).
It’s half an hour long and 88MB. But, it’s in Quicktime format for crossplatformness, as well as so you can effectively watch it while loading it.
Feel free to download and distribute this, but please link back. I’ll likely be mirroring the video somewhere else at some point, so please don’t reference the file .mov file directly. Please either link to the .html file or download the files and mirror them yourself.
Let me know your thoughts on this. Not quite a PodCast, but ah well.

Nice job, Jeremy. Kind of funny watching you go through the same struggles as me with my spaces interaction over the last 24 hours. It’s going to take a little while to stem the flood of users and for M$ to be able to stabelize the system.
My spaces blog is here: http://spaces.msn.com/members/tdavid/
I’ll add a link to this on one of my recent blog entries at my main blog and/or spaces when I can get to it.

Boy, you sure sound different than I thought you would–I figured John 117 from Halo (the Master Chief) just higher pitched, and a bit different.
It looks like a good software for those who just want little sites they can put up for photo albums for their families, or little news bullitens for the family or things like that–I don’t think it would be well-suited to a business and technology blog as yours, or even a gaming and webmastery and off-topic blog such as my own.
Very nice video. Thanks, Jeremy.
