The integration with Messenger and even Hotmail will be a huge help and will also get more people to sign up for those services after signing up for their own Space. It's really a win-win for Microsoft, but it's a bit of a lose-lose for everyone else; the blogosphere will get a good bit more homogeneous with this launch. I just trackbacked to this and threw together my own thoughts on this in a rather quick, flow-of-thought manner.
