In the program we used (paws, god I hated it, wouldn't let me use the stupid backspace key) I scored 98 wpm in a paragraph form with no errors. If and when it accepted a few errors I hit about 150 wpm on simple sentences, and dropped to about 120 on complex ones. Now, I'd say I'm even faster than that but I use an ergo keyboard and a few other tricks. I know I piss off the parentals with my speed. There's no point being able to type fast, however, if you have nothing useful to type. It's only good if you're thinking that fast, or if you're taking a typing test for a job. Open up Word, open up Windows clock, wait for the seconds to show 00, and GO. Just typed as fast as I could about basically anything (went on a bit of a rant about how typing tests don't work, ironically). After a minute I stopped, did a word count - 228 words. Bascially lets you write freely (and watch what you're typing instead of what's in the paragraph above) and still be typing sensible stuff.
