Towards the end of your stent you will be working a days labor for half a day's pay. And let's not even mention taxes... If I were you I would have bought the laptop, written it off as a business expense, and gotten said company to sponsor the site to the tune of $3,000. The tax situation would have been nullified and you would have saved a year's worth of posting. At the end of the year the laptop will be worth way less than $3K because of general depreciation and the fact that faster better laptops will cost a good bit less.
