It’s official: I’ve handed in my Letter of Resignation. Effective February 4, 2005 I’ll be self employed and helping to run the world’s most prominent blog consulting company.
I was going to post the letter here, but since so many of my colleagues read this I didn’t think it was necessarily appropriate.
So, to my colleagues, thanks for a great year, loads of laughs and all the chummery and tom foolery. Have a good one

Congrats! You are going to love being self-employed. Personally, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Congrats on the move to “the world’s most prominent blog consulting company”. I’m sure you’ll do very very well
Working for yourself is not easy, and the associated headaches often outweigh the remuneration.
I for one would love to have those headaches again.
All the best.

Well done Jeremy. Self employment is a better fit for some people and IMHO you are one of those people. Having known you for a few years via SitePoint Forums I thought it was strange last year when you took an actual “job” and were not already working for yourself full time. Good luck with InsideBlogging and all of your other ventures.

Congrats and welcome (soon) to the world of self-employment!
Start practicing getting up in the morning, showering, and putting on clothes despite having no externally-imposed requirement to do so. It’s a challenge.

Jeremy,
I have to admit, you know how to start with a bang my friend! Your new website is of top-notch character and should make a great first impression to anyone who visits.
If there is a living to be made from business blog consulting, you and Darren will be the ones to do it! Congratulations on your new start-up.
