I, uh…
This sounds weird to say, but I need 5-6 people who can act as book reviewers over the next 3-6 months. No promises on anything going to press, but I’ve had calls with several publishers, I’ve chosen an agent and the book’s general contents have been chosen.
This isn’t an easy thing to do (book reviewing). I need people who can be brutally honest, won’t kiss my ass, can get back to me with feedback relatively quickly (24 hours type of thing).
I don’t want this to sound like it’s a load of work. Between now and January, don’t expect more than a book overview to review. If a deal gets signed, look at a chapter a week type of thing.
There’s no pay for this. Oh, and it’s about blogging.
Feel free to spread the word

I’m interested – I’ve checked out your blog for a while now (lurking, is it called?) and some of what you are writing about is over my head. But the over the last few months I’ve definitely learned a lot about what people are doing out there. Also thought your review of MSN Spaces was very informative. I like it for the scrolling pictures, and will probably use it for grandma’s picture fixes. Thanks!

I would be interested too. I’d love to get more into writing, so helping helping review can only help down that trail.

I’d be interested to help out. Over the past two years I’ve published an online magazine to help smaller businesses find practical, how-to knowledge about low-cost internet tools and services. And I’ve been doing the same thing for employers and clients since 1995. So maybe that sort of viewpoint would be helpful to you? At the least, I’d encourage you to take a practical approach and I look forward to reading the final.

Well, it looks like you already have more volunteers than you asked for. However, I’ll add my name to the list in case you need more.
