A Personal Blog
Blogger Jobs Opens
Well, I was hoping to keep this quiet for a day or two until I’d ironed out the kinks, but Jason’s let the cat out of the bag:
Yesterday I saw a post on Jeremy Wright’s blog Ensight. He had a good idea about starting a blog that focused on jobs for bloggers. I emailed him and said I would set up a blog under the recruiting.com site specifically for this. He liked the idea and today there is a blog for companies to promote their needs for bloggers.
Jeremy will run this blog, If you are interested in having your positions posted in this new Job Blog Section, please contact Jeremy. You can find his info on the new blog.

So, what’s the deal? It’s a simplified version of the idea I was bouncing around in my head yesterday:
What if companies could post jobs that were specifically open to bloggers. Not that only bloggers would be considered, of course, but ones where they would really appreciate having a blogger be hired. And where bloggers could respond to those offerings?
So, I opened the blog with a welcome post, where I state the purpose of the blog:
Blogger Jobs is basically a place where I will post jobs that either:
- Are specifically suited to bloggers
- Are posted by bloggers
If you have a position that fits either of these, please let me know.
Jobs do not need to be tech oriented, and please let me know if you spot any such jobs. Also, if anyone is aware of jobs specifically for bloggers I would like to highlight those in their own category.
Let me know your thoughts :)
ps: because this wasn’t quite ready to be launched yet, there will be changes to the template of various kinds.

I like the idea and really hope it will take off. Not only will bloggers have a political impact, but perhaps they will have a big economic one too.
