Blogger Jobs – 1 Week In
I feel a bit apologetic that in the last couple of weeks most of my blogging has been about stuff I’m up to, and not very much has been “content related”, per se. I think that’s a little bit of a bad thing, but at the same time I think it’s good that I’m active.
There’ll be another such post later today, sadly (or happily) on The Bloggist. Keep your eyes and ears peeled.
Last week I launched Blogger Jobs. It’s a site where I mirror postings made on people’s blogs OR where I post jobs where bloggers are specifically required or desired. I, personally, think it’s a pretty cool idea.
Before doing this I’d have never thought of blogs being a good jobs site. However, it’s obviously struck a nerve as we have somewhere around 300 subscribers to the feed right now, which is a good thing.
I’ve been trying to get 3-5 new jobs up a day. Some are quieter, some are more active.
Either way, this one week old experiment is causing a bit of a stir in the blogosphere and recruitosphere (yes, new word). It’s good. Bloggers telling bloggers that jobs are available? That rocks, at least in my opinion.

I think it’s a cool idea as well and passed the link on to a couple of people. It’s great that you are able to find 3-5 jobs that qualify this time of year. Many companies stop hiring until the new year.
