A Personal Blog
Blogger JobBoard?
I’ve been knocking this idea around in my head for a while…
What if companies could post jobs that were specifically open to bloggers. Not that only bloggers would be considered, of course, but ones where they would really appreciate having a blogger be hired. And where bloggers could respond to those offerings?
The reason I ask, is that I’ve been ClipBlogging quite a few openings being posted by bloggers, and watching bloggers fill them. Seems to me like a site for just this purpose could work quite well. It’d likely require manual approval of jobs (so you don’t just get thousands of [insert recruiting company here] jobs posted blindly).
Thoughts?

Interesting but how many companies, do you think, want to hire bloggers for blogging? I mean, unlesss the blogger was Jeremy Zawodny….

More and more companies are asking their blogging employees to post the messages on their blogs, and more bloggers are making just such posts.
To me, if you are a blogger posting a job, or you’re a company asking a blogger to blog about a job, it might be worth putting it in a central location.
Might be, I’m happy to be wrong :)

Sounds good. I would create a blog in recruiting.com and give you admin rights over it if you want to start this tomorrow.

This is an interesting idea. I feel like there are further applications. I’m going to have to try to suss them out. (An entire recruiting company that posted jobs on a blog and then archived them?)
