Update: Updated list, thanks to Elliott.
Update2: Updated again, now up to 41.
Update3: Updated again, now up to 43. Please note, use these services responsibly. When I started this page I was pinging ALL of them (25 at the time). I now ping about 30, all of which are topical and relevant to me. You may also want to consider simply using Pingomatic for your pinging needs - which will speed up your posting if you’re having issues.

Whoa. I wonder how much comment spam you get because of that…

Merging your list with mine produces a masterlist 8 entries longer: 37 services. Crazy.

Jeremy also calls all proud parents out there after every post, just in case they have a little left for him.

I can ban your IP you know :p

The list of blog pinging services just gets longer and longer.
Thanks for providing this ever growing list for us.
The more pinging services are an indication of the growing power of blogs.

I *finally* got TB working on my blog….due to WP bugs. Hurray. Now I can trackback you, since I quoted you!

List updated to 41

Thanks for gathering this, I’ll add the ones we missed to Ping-O-Matic.
#12 by Bob - December 11th, 2004 at 20:50
Please remove http://thingamablog.sourceforge.net/ping.php from this list. This service is for Thingamablog users only. Non-thingamablog weblogs are automatically banned, so pinging it is futile.
Thanks

I’ll remove it right now. You could have emailed me as well.
