A Personal Blog
Another Blogger Fired
This isn’t really that surprising. And I know I’m not the first to note this, but I do want a record of this in case I want to find it in the future.
Delta recently fired a blogging flight attendant.
Here’s one blogger’s view:
The crime? Blogging with pictures of herself in uniform.
She supposes that her employer must have had “a problem with some very TAME pics of QofS posing on the airplane with no passengers on board” which she has since removed from her blog.
She has a comment though: “The most risque photo shows QofS with a couple of buttons of her uniform shirt undone :O If the Pope is still reading her blog, QofS thinks even HE would approve of these pics.”
However, Ellen’s diary has evolved into an anonymous semi-fictional account of life in the sky.
I’d be curious if Delta had any policy on pictures, blogging, confidentiality statements, etc.
