While I really try and stay away from political statements here. And while if I were voting I’d be voting for Kerry, that’s not why I’m posting this.
I’m posting this because the content of this video is not only incredibly, incredibly strong but is also incredibly focussed: vote or lose out. Stand up for what you believe in. Don’t stand for being lied to. Don’t let your generation get trampled.
It’s in that vein, irrespective of my beliefs, that I’m mirroring this video, since the source site is getting hammered.

love to reply to my new best friend…..what you don’t understand is that I do have a life..why am i the dumbass kid w/ no life b/c i dig current world events and have opinions that differ from yours? you sound like michael moore who honstly believes that 59 million americans have been brainwashed by bush and the media..might as well just call me a dumbass redneck with a taste for blood….militant islamic blood..have you seen the video of the marine shooting that unharmed injured insurgant in the mosque in fallujah?…i have and i love that shit..you see it as a cruel act that violates gineva conv…..i see it as doing this guy a favor and sending him to allah…they have booby trapped dead bodies and set little traps all over…fallujah should have been hit w/ one of those bombs the size of a VW bug….but then then you girls would all cry about the loss of life..forget 911, what about the first WTC attacks 30 days after clinton came into office, what about USS Cole?..what about the embassy bombings?…we are fighting a new war and to win this war we gotta do it in unconventional ways…search and destroy..war has been declared on MY WAY OF LIFE and we (the majority of americans, BUSH COUNTRY) refuse to take anymore shit….all you guys probably think that b/c our foriegn policy that we deserved to be attacked and taught a lesson….this is where you and me differ my good friend jerdane..are you a female by the way?

History has proven that appeasment does not work..you guys sound like the same people who denied the holocost ever happened…..mass graves in northern iraq is enough of a case for war…they deserve the right to bad mouth their future president…the same right all you guys are enjoying right now..love to hear how you disagree w/ that ill pill

Actually history has proven that it DOES work. The number of deals and such that have been struck in history where countries nearly at war have stopped is well beyond the number where appeasement and diplomatic negotiations didnt’ work.
I can think of dozens of examples where diplomacy won out. Including the Cold War. Can you imagine what would have happened if the US had run into Russia and tried to “stop it before it started”?
Good gawd. I shudder.

not so fast my good friend…cooler heads at times have prevailed…but do not make the mistake of saying that simply b/c we did not sling/trade nukes w/ the reds, do not think for a second that the cold war was not won in other wars/battles around the globe…the cold war was won on several fronts and many soliders died winning that war…appeasement does not apply..and then?

new world with new rules and new world players….old rules need not apply….the united states of america has now become the most hated infamous country in the world and we love it b/c now everyone really says what they feel…bin laden succeded in his mission..good for him, but he has made one mistake…he has underestimated the americans will and resolve to win….he has studied vietnam and the first gulf war where b/c of public opinion we pulled back…not this time….we are a pre-emptive country who will strike first and take criticms later….the entire world can “F” off cause we do not care and if you really got a problem…..all ya gotta do is put an army together and we will see who has the last word….it will be us every time…the worlds sympathy for these bastards sickens me about as much as bush sickens them…
