		<description>Jeremy, I was actually thinking of your sponsored posts experiment when writing my comment. You&#039;ve (in my mind at least) done a good job balancing the need to advertise while still keeping your credibility. My rule of thumb for sponsored posts is &quot;If you can turn down something you don&#039;t agree with then you&#039;re not turning into a shill&quot;. My main point was that I can see where the temptation of the almighty dollar can blur the lines of what&#039;s acceptable and ultimately damage the author&#039;s reputation. I prefer to stay away from such things so my motives aren&#039;t even called into question in that aspect, but that&#039;s me (and this is a decision that in my mind should be based solely on the author, by the author), and as you&#039;ve said before, Sponsored Posting is a risk. If it&#039;s a risk you can manage well, you can succeed (market factors notwithstanding). If you can&#039;t manage it and the temptation of the dollar gets to you, then you hurt more than ad revenue.</description>
