Lenn, the guy behind Channel 9, has started blogging the history of Channel 9′s creation. For him, he couldn’t simply start at the idea, he had to start at the beginning: why he (a diehard Mac guy) went to work for one of the most “evil” corporations ever.

He even talks about a dinner his friends had where they tried to talk him out of going (like he was a druggie and needed to be confronted to see the truth). Personally, I’m glad he went onto Microsoft. Lenn’s an awesome guy. We don’t talk as much as we used to because he’s crazy busy, but he’s one of the people I got to know at Microsoft. He’s one of the people who really makes me want to work there.

Lenn rocks.
