		<description>Yeah, I caught wind of this before the official price range. It seems odd to me that Google would restate the expected bid. Is that allowed during the actual IPO? I would have thought companies couldn&#039;t actually state the price they thought something would go for...

It also seems to me that many people are bidding based on Google&#039;s statements which seems to be a conflict of interest to me.

Anyone with more knowledge of the laws and process have an opinion?</description>

		<description>I&#039;m not surprised.  They really made a big mistake with the arcane procedures they set up.  The auction idea is cool, and Ebayish, but it&#039;s not Wall Street.</description>
