A Personal Blog
Blgo Advertising Not Quite Mainstream
An excellent post at Outside The Beltway about blog advertising.
Ultimately the reason I don’t blog here, in spite of nearly 75,000 monthly visitors, is because the advertising in the past has been pitiful. Well less than the 15$/month it costs me to host this, and it simply wasn’t the hassle.
I’ll probably try it again sometime this year when I redesign again… But ultimately until it’s over 100$/month, I just don’t see the point. Also, I don’t really see very many bloggers making more than 1K/month in advertising, even if they are pulling in serious traffic.
Read the piece at OTB, well worth the time if you’re curious at the state of blogging advertising.

Feel free to delete once this stuff is fixed, but:
“Ultimately the reason I don’t blog here, in spite of nearly 75,000 monthly visitors,”
Shouldn’t that be advertise rather than blog? ;)
And “Blog” in the article title is misspelled. Or you’re talking about the next big thing that I didn’t know abut. :D

…and leave it to me to misspell a simple word like “about” in a grammar police comment. :(
