A Personal Blog
Advertising at Ensight
Following on from my piece about how blog advertising isn’t mainstream yet because it isn’t really beneficial to the vast majority of bloggers, I have decided to try advertising on Ensight again.
As a trial, I have sold 2 spots (yes, they’ll be incorporated in a more appropriate way into the design in the near future) to services I was planning on reviewing anyways (as part of my ongoing search to ‘perfectize’ my hosting).
I have a third spot available that I will be selling in order to guage the interest in advertising here at Ensight.
Some quick stats:
Google PageRank: 7 (this is high for just about any blog, just look around)
Monthly Pageviews: ~250,000
Monthly Visitors: ~100,000
Indexed Pages: ~3,500
I will entertain offers of as little as 30$/month (as well as multi-month deals, for better value) for the third ad spot, and am willing to talk through more ‘creative’ advertising techniques, with the right advertisers.
For now, consider these ads ‘beta’. If they prove to be both profitable and appropriate enough, they will continue (though doing so will likely require a redesign so they don’t just “sit there”).

You could also give a service like Commission Junction a shot, where you’re paid on a successful sale or lead…
