Visual Basic at the Movies
I’ve known about this resource for a while, but hadn’t used it and hadn’t blogged about it.
VB @ The Movies is a great video resource of how to program in VB.NET. There are something like 100 movies here, all with fantastic, easy to follow content.
I would actually consider these movies superior to those at LearnVisualStudio.NET, as the videos are ‘complete’, where as many of the LVS videos are part of a larger series where you really need to dedicate an hour or more to watch the series at once.
Plus, if you watch and rate 5 movies at VB @ The Movies, you can a free copy of VB.NET Standard, which is basically VisualStudio.NET, but only for VB.NET. Not a bad deal, and I’ll definitely be ordering my copy!
