A Personal Blog
What The Hell @ Cemper.com?
Has anyone else run into this?
I’ve gotten dozens of “trackbacks” from weblog.cemper.com. It’s almost like trackbacks spam. It’s not like his ideas are referencing my posts or are even related. It’s getting a bit tiresome. Trackback spam? Maybe… Just maybe…
Seems David is having the same problem.
Perhaps time to drop this blogger a friendly email?
UPDATE
Okay, this seems to have gotten a bit out of hand, the following blogs are also complaining: redemption in a blog, Heiko Hebig and Martin.
Cemper’s response?
He says the purpose of sending TrackBack pings is to notify others that you wrote about the same thing and to notify Person B was my intention.
Except that the entries aren’t related. Generally at all. Really.
Sorry “Mr. Cemper”, but I’ll be sending you an email asking to be taken off your “Trackback list”.

Hey are those pings recent? Just want to know if he’s still doing this.
It happened awhile back on my blog and there was some discussion – I hardly find his explanations justifiable as well. So far, he seems to be the only TrackBack “spammer” and he’s doing a good job making a name for himself!
