Perspective

A bit of perspective is always nice.

A lot of people have been reflecting on this year recently (it was the end of the year and everything); as well as projecting about the coming year.

Heck, I even did it.

While I stand by my statements, and do believe blogging will reach critical mass in the next year or two…

Well, put it this way. There are currently less blogs in the world than there were Geocities sites in 1994.

Things Really Falling In Place

Well, things in Winnipeg are really starting to sort themselves out. We’ve basically found an apartment, though my boss insists on checking it out to make sure it’s “good enough” for me. We’ve also been given a large (nearly 5K) moving allowance, which is amazing because we’ve been able to hire a company to do all the packing, moving and unpacking.

Also, the apartment we’ve chosen is not only cheap (less than 700$/month total, which is 300$/month less than we pay now) but it’s also a sublet until October, instead of a full 1-year lease.

This move is shaping up to be incredibly easy!
