Oh Jay, I hear you, I so hear you.

18 months ago I had 20K in consumer debt (credit cards mainly). We’re now down to our last 2500$. And I’m already feeling that sigh of relief. That “I never want to be here”. That wonderful feeling of, well, euphoria.

But, like Jay, I’m also planning to develop several emergency funds. One for the car, one for computer, one 6-month savings thing, as well as increasing my retirement savings.
