Remote Desktop Connection for Linux
If anyone has played with Redhat 9, you may be aware that a useful tool used by Windows Systems Administrators has now been ported to Linux. It comes by default with the Redhat 9 distro and can be downloaded here for all others. In Windows XP, this is called the Remote Desktop Connection which is simply a nice enhancement on Terminal Services on Win2k
Now Windows systems administrators (or those running Windows servers in their homes) can enjoy the benefits of Linux without giving up this precious interface tool.

the host PC would need to be setup to use it. In the IIS panel you go to the default site (or whichever one) and configure RDC, etc. Google for “Setting up remote desktop connection” for walkthroughs on getting setup.

So is there a software that i need to install on the linux box in order to connect to it from a remote computer.
Typically i am using a Redhat Linux 9.0 and am trying to connect o it from the windows machine.

u wud have to have vnc server running on the linux machine and then be able to use vnc client to connect to it from windows

Does this program work the other way around as well? I am putting Mandrake on this machine, and want to still Remote Admin into my other XP machines with as much ease as I can do with XP Pro.
