Well, I am starting to look for a dedicated server for a project I am starting on in August. I am trying to stay cheap but reliable, which doesn’t seem like a common thing in the dedicated server market.
I have also realized that most of these companies try to stick it to you by making the advertised price only available if you buy a 12 month contract. I know they are trying to be a successful business and all but hitting me with a signup fee and a 12 month contract is crazy!!

What are you looking for in a server mate? Between most of the ensight guys we’ve probably worked with 15 different companies

I am basically looking for transfer amounts and speed. My budget is a max of $130 a month. I don’t really want a setup fee and I want a company that is reliable and the uptime is good.
